Laura Vecoli '17 (Italy) will study at the world's top-ranked hotel management school—École Hôtelière de Lausanne—after also receiving offers from each of the other four schools she applied to: London School of Economics, University College London, University of Manchester, and University of Durham.

Niccolò McConnell '17 (United Kingdom), who scored a remarkable 42 points on his IB Diploma assessment, will study Economics and Statistics at University College London, where the acceptance rate for his program is just 11 percent.

Chapman Tennessee Hildebrand '17 (United States) will pursue a degree in Music Industry Studies while also studying composition for media and film at Loyola University New Orleans beginning in the fall of 2018. He has some big plans in the meantime.

The entire TASIS faculty and staff bid farewell to Headmaster Lyle Rigg, who is retiring for the fourth (and final!) time, at the end-of-year Faculty Celebration on the evening of June 8 and at the closing Faculty Meeting on the morning of June 9. Mr. Rigg delivered his final remarks and was presented with a book of tributes.
