The MS Girls Volleyball team hosted their first home match of the year. The first set saw little action as the girls were struggling with nerves against their strong opponent, though they gave a much-improved performance in the second set, making a comeback starting with two great serves by co-captain Nina Modin '23. Sayaka Shiraishi '23 also displayed great skills, not missing any serves during the second set and gaining TASIS 4 points. It was a tight second set and the girls played well as a team, getting 10 points on the board.

The Tigers went into the third set hungry for a win. Co-captain Léa Le Mat '23 served 5 correct serves and no serves were missed by the girls. They showed much motivation and their earlier frustration was replaced by screaming and laughing. Both captains kept the girls' spirits high and Jennifer Buckley '25 made sure to run for every ball. Giulia Mondin '25 wanted to stay on the bench but with encouragement from her team, she went out and enjoyed it. The set ended with a 21-25 loss but the Tigers can be proud of their play. A fourth set was tight as well, and the girls learned a lot about the mental aspects of the game and how great it feels when they are playing their best.
