TASIS placed 3rd overall, losing to ASM in the morning match (2-5) and to BSM in the afternoon (2-5).
The TASIS Varsity Tennis team returned to the NISSA Championships after a few years, ready to take on American School of Milan (ASM) and British School of Milan (BSM). In the morning match against ASM, the singles matches were tight, with victories by Giulio Bianco '21 at #1 boys singles and Maria Caplan '20 at #1 girls singles. Joy Mack '21fought hard but lost in a tiebreaker (6-7 (5-7)). In the afternoon against BSM, the competition was much tougher at the top, especially on the boys side. In the end, the two victories from TASIS came from girls doubles, featuring Zhamilya Mussabeikova '22 and Darya Voyush '20, and Caplan at #1 girls singles again. Overall, it was a learning experience for the Tigers, who head into the SGIS Championships in early May with the intention of repeating as champions.
