Final loss to Aiglon (2-6)

2nd place overall

TASIS represented itself very well at the annual SGIS Girls Singles Tournament. In pool play, TASIS finished 10-6 in match play, advancing three players to the quarterfinals. Stanislava Kirsanova '19 fell to the eventual champion from Aiglon but recovered to win her consolation match against ISL. Due to an odd draw, Arina Kolesnikova '18 faced Sonja Artemieva '19 in the first quarterfinal in what was ultimately the best match of the tournament for any of the players. Kolesnikova emerged victorious (7-6, 8-6) in a tiebreak. Unfortunately, that put Artemieva in the back draw, which she ended winning handily. From there, Koslesnikova dispatched her semifinal opponent from ICSZ without much drama, before falling in the final to Aiglon for a second-place finish.
