A beautiful white building bursting with memories, a transformed school sports court, and a mild summer night created a spectacular venue for the first TASIS Hellenic All-Class Reunion on July 29. More than 150 people joined in to celebrate their time at the school and reconnect with classmates, some even traveling from as far as the US, China, and Britain for the event.
Many guests hadn’t seen their alma mater since graduation and were thrilled to join Eleni Haniotakis TH '94 for a tour. Attendees included people from every decade of TH’s existence, and even some from before and after Mrs. Fleming’s involvement with the school. As the evening wore on, the volume of the music increased and led to spontaneous dancing, including a line dance expertly led by George Serentini TH '84.
The night before, a dozen members from the Class of ’87, along with faculty members Gary Jervis, Kath Cairncross, and Noelle Boucherat, got together at a restaurant in Glyfáda for an evening of memories, laughs, and delicious food—the perfect hearty appetizer before the main event the following night.
The TASIS Alumni Team would like to offer a huge Thank You to ISA Director Spiros Molfetas for allowing us to use the location that is so meaningful to our TH alumni, and to Rena Deriziotis, Fanis Malakondas, and Eleni Haniotakis for their support and advice throughout the planning of this event. A special mention is also owed to Steve Psallidas TH '87, whose original plan for the class reunion provided the impetus for the all-class event. Ευχαριστώ!
