We had 18 classmates attend plus former staff (Kate Gonzales Woodard and her husband Roger) to make a total of 22 in our reunion group. We started out on Friday, October 23 with everyone arriving around 5:00 for our ''Fondue Party.'' We had a great mix...half came from the East Coast, half from the West, two from London...it was great! The noise volume was high to say the least, but when we played Pushing all the Buttons you couldn’t hear a pin drop! The next day was open day with some of us going on The Desert Dog Hummer open air jeep tour....beautiful desert countryside. That evening, we were back at the Club and had our main dinner at the Euro Café, followed by live music at Grapeables. The next day we all carpooled to the beautiful Red Rock area of Sedona. No one wanted to leave! That evening we headed to The Octegon Café. We had arranged to have the entire restaurant to ourselves.
We stood and toasted Mrs. Fleming and then everyone took five minutes to share what TASIS had meant to them. I cried several times saying good-bye. It was like I had just made 22 new best friends!"
