After a successful campus reopening for our Elementary and Middle School day students to finish the 2019–2020 academic year, we are eager to have our entire student body back on campus and very much look forward to a safe and productive fall semester. TASIS students scored a 4 or higher on more than half of the 178 Advanced Placement exams they took this spring, and 24 students earned AP Scholar Awards.

The average score posted by the 48 TASIS students who obtained an IB Diploma in 2020 was 32.6, exceeding the worldwide average by 2.7 points. Learn about this year's results and the unique circumstances surrounding the 2020 IB grades.
Many Paths to Success
TASIS students driven to find a home at an outstanding university can do so by pursuing an IB Diploma or by taking a number of AP courses and scoring highly on the corresponding exams. They may further bolster their candidacy by performing well on standardized tests, writing excellent personal statements, and exhibiting an impressive commitment to a combination of the arts, athletics, local and global service, and leadership positions on or off campus.
In short, there are many paths to success at TASIS. Over the course of the next few months, we will be shining a spotlight on a number of exemplary students from the Class of 2020. We start with the five below.
After a remarkable eight years at TASIS, Valedictorian and top IB scorer Giulia Meregalli (Italy) plans to enroll in either the Department of Land Economy at Cambridge University or the Bioprocessing of New Medicines program at University College London.

After 13 years at TASIS, AP Scholar Hanna Osgood (France/USA) applied early to Boston University and was happy to accept an offer from the private research university, where she will seek a degree in Political Science.

After two excellent years at TASIS, Enzo Tondo (Brazil) has decided to return to his home country for his post-secondary studies and is setting his sights on Insper, one of the most prestigious schools of business, economics, and engineering in all of Latin America.

IB Visual Arts standout Zoe Wang (China) will seek a degree in Culture, Media & Creative Industries at King's College London after also considering offers from three other excellent schools in London: University College London (UCL), Goldsmiths University, and Central Saint Martins - University of the Arts London.
