More than 300 High School students and faculty members established a new record by completing 3053 laps, covering a total distance of 1527 kilometers (36.2 marathons).

This year TASIS students will learn from and interact with an emerging filmmaker and photographer, an award-winning journalist, an accomplished writer and producer, and a distinguished theoretical cosmologist and particle physicist. Filmmaker and TASIS graduate Milo Zanecchia '08 kicked things off on the evening of October 22.

TASIS was honored to welcome acclaimed poet A. Van Jordan to campus as the School's second Linda Buchanan Poet in Residence from October 1–4. After meeting with students extensively over the course of his four-day visit, Professor Jordan remarked, "It's clear that TASIS creates an environment that engenders empathy across cultures, and I wish we had more of that in the world."
