The TASIS Middle School held its annual Moving-Up Ceremony, which commemorates the passage of students from Middle School to High School, in the Palmer Cultural Center on the afternoon of June 9 and was delighted to welcome parents to attend the ceremony for the first time since 2019.
The 2022 program included remarks from Head of Middle School Student Affairs MJ Breton and Headmaster Christopher Nikoloff; student speeches delivered by Edoardo Milani, Kristine Kachatourian, and Serafina Ballerini; musical performances featuring the Middle School Choir, pianist Diana Xiao, and vocalists Alessia Primo and Maximillian Josa Walsh; the announcement of awards; the presentation of graduation certificates from Lower School Head Timothy Fitzgerald to the 45 members of the outstanding 8th-grade class; and a moving video presentation created by Middle School Administrative Intern James Williams.
