TASIS Theater Presents “Twelfth Night”

Congratulations to the students and faculty members in the TASIS High School Theater Program for their outstanding performances of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the Palmer Cultural Center on the evenings of November 19–20! The premiere can be watched in full below.

Directed by Mr. Matthew Frazier-Smith with assistance from Mr. Bill Dalton, this year’s High School Fall Play featured a terrific cast and crew composed of TASIS High School students and faculty members—with a few guest appearances from younger members of the TASIS community.

In this classic Shakespearean comedy of romance, madness, and mistaken identity, Viola is separated from her twin brother, Sebastian, and travels into Illyria disguised as a man. She is hired as a servant for Duke Orsino, with whom Viola promptly falls in love. Orsino, however, is in love with Olivia, and he sends Viola to court her on his behalf. Olivia will hear nothing of Orsino’s advances but falls for Viola instead. This love triangle is complicated further when Viola’s twin brother, Sebastian, arrives in Illyria and is mistaken for Viola.
