Established in 2017 by Ms. Julie Frazier-Smith, Sweet November Dance Company—now known as TASIS Dance to reflect the school’s growing array of dance offerings—has performed for the TASIS community 14 times. Recent performances include the 2025 fall concert, It’s You I Like; the 2025 Spring Arts Festival performing arts showcase, Wild; and the 2024 fall concert, Paris: La Ville Lumière.

Our Offerings

High School Aerial Dance
Directed by Julie Frazier-Smith
High School dancers focus on advanced aerial technique on apparatuses such as silks, hoops, and hammocks. Classwork develops strength, flexibility, coordination, and performance skills, preparing students for both concert and competitive performances.

High School Contemporary Dance

High School dancers refine advanced contemporary technique, emphasizing alignment, fluidity, and stage presence. Classes are designed to prepare students for both concert and competitive performances, fostering artistry, precision, and expressive movement.

High School Hip Hop
Directed by Guilherme Frugoni
High School Hip Hop combines technical skill, rhythm, and performance energy. Students master choreographed routines and freestyle techniques designed for concert and competitive performances, developing musicality, expression, and stage-ready confidence.

High School Street Jazz
Directed by Guilherme Frugoni
High School Street Jazz develops stylized jazz and street-inspired technique, combining sharp, dynamic movement with musicality and performance artistry. Students prepare for concert and competitive showcases, building confidence, precision, and stage presence.

High School Performing Arts
Taught by Julie Frazier-Smith
The High School Performing Arts class is an interdisciplinary program integrating dance, theater, and music. Students explore how different art forms intersect and influence one another, engaging in research and practical application. Each student selects a discipline for deeper study, culminating in individual presentations and group performances that highlight versatility and creativity.

Middle School Contemporary/Aerial Dance
Directed by Julie Frazier-Smith
Middle School dancers explore contemporary dance fundamentals alongside aerial apparatuses such as silks and hoops. Classes focus on strength, flexibility, coordination, and expressive movement, preparing students for school concerts and performance opportunities.

Middle School Hip Hop

Middle School Hip Hop emphasizes rhythm, musicality, and foundational street-style technique. Students learn choreographed sequences and freestyle skills, building confidence and performance quality while preparing for concert performances.

Elementary School Commercial Hip Hop

Elementary School Commercial Hip Hop is an energetic style rooted in street culture, featuring movements like breaking, locking, and popping. This program emphasizes rhythm, coordination, and musicality through engaging choreography that reflects the vibrant essence of Hip Hop. Students are encouraged to express their individuality and connect with the music, showcasing their unique styles in a fun and dynamic environment. They perform at the annual Elementary School Christmas Concert.

Elementary School Ballet

Elementary SchoolBallet is a foundational class for young dancers, focusing on the mastery of basic positions, steps, and essential techniques. This program emphasizes proper posture, balance, and musicality, providing students with the skills needed to express themselves through movement. Dancers engage in fun and structured training, building confidence and discipline while fostering a lifelong love for dance. Through this nurturing environment, students develop creativity and grace, laying the groundwork for their future dance journeys. They perform at the annual Elementary School Christmas Concert.
