TASIS Filmmakers Chronicle Academic Travel

As part of their Journalism and Video Production internships, Daisy Bachofen ’20, Lana Kozak ’19, and Cristina Estevez ’19 created engaging short films about their Fall Academic Travel trips to the Azores, Venice, and Vienna. See their excellent work below.

The Azores: IB Environmental Systems and Societies

Daisy Bachofen ’20 put together this visually stunning video about the IB Environmental Systems and Societies trip to the Azores, an archipelago composed of nine volcanic islands in the North Atlantic Ocean west of continental Portugal.

Venice: IB Visual Arts

Historic flooding didn’t stop Lana Kozak ’19 from producing this gorgeous video about the IB Visual Arts trip to Venice, where 16 resilient young artists turned their misfortune into a very fun and interesting week.

Vienna: AP Art History

Cristina Estevez '19 filmed and edited this entertaining look at the AP Art History class's five-day journey to Vienna, Austria. Led by Khan-Page Master Teacher Mark Aeschliman, the group visited a number of world-famous museums, including the Kunsthistorisches Museum.
