Athletes of the Year 2021

Congratulations to TASIS seniors Zhantemir Sarsenov and Elle Kirby, who were announced as the Male and Female Athlete of the Year at a virtual Spring Athletic Awards assembly hosted by Athletic Director Masa Yo ’04 and Associate Athletic Director Alex Zanecchia ’02 on the afternoon of May 14.

Tales from Thailand: Students Share Stories from the First TASIS Global Service Program Trip in Two Years

Over the course of the two-week spring holiday in April, 20 TASIS students and six faculty chaperones worked closely with OurLand, a wildlife reserve and education center located at the southern tip of the Western Forest Complex and Salakphra Wildlife Sanctuary. They visited three types of wildlife sanctuaries to learn about ethical elephant tourism, talked to those on the front lines of human-elephant conflict, and helped out locals when and where they could.
