Presenting the 2019 TASIS Christmas Service

The elegant 2019 TASIS Christmas Service was celebrated at the beautiful church of San Nicolao della Flüe on the afternoon of Sunday, December 8.

TASIS Performing Arts Director Samantha Forrest guided TASIS’s exceptional student vocalists and instrumentalists in collaboration with Middle School Choir Director Yara Rubb, Elementary School Choir Director Melody Tibbits Zanecchia, and Community Choir Director Tamara Schumacher. They were supported by TASIS music teachers and associated members of the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana.

Readings from Isaiah, Luke, and the First Corinthians were presented by Middle School Teacher Gigi Diane Guarnieri Rosso, Giorgia Segat ’27 and Edoardo Vasino ’24, Giulia de Cristofaro ’20, Headmaster Christopher Nikoloff, and Chairman of the Board Lynn Fleming Aeschliman ’63 while Don Marco Dania and Executive Assistant to the Chairman of the Board Jessica Surer delivered the Invocation, Seasonal Greeting, and Benediction in both Italian and English. A reception followed the service for parents, friends, and performers.
