"1988" Ski Adventure

Alex Secilmis '19, Virginia Italia '19, and Lilian Angelone '19 worked together to create this 1980s-style look at the 2018 TASIS Ski Adventure in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.

Global Service Program: Nepal

Alex Secilmis '19, Virginia Italia '19, and Lily Angelone '19 journeyed to the Tserok Tibetan refugee camp in Nepal in the spring of 2018 and documented the life-changing experience in this excellent video.

Family Weekend Assembly

TASIS Middle School and High School students and their families piled into the Palestra for the annual Family Weekend Assembly on the morning of October 12, 2018. The uplifting assembly included opening remarks from Headmaster Christopher Nikoloff, two excellent speeches from students, and several outstanding musical performances—including a surprise medley finale from the TASIS Faculty and Staff Band that featured Mr. Nikoloff on drums!

Academic Travel: Florence

Armed only with well-worn copies of the Divine Comedy and their stunning collective intellect, 12 brave souls journeyed into the heart of Dante's homeland and strove to commune with the fabled poet by reciting all of the Inferno’s Canto V. Neither wind nor rain nor barking animals nor the adoring masses could stop this merry band of peripatetic scholars as they pursued their goal with the passion of Dante, the punctiliousness of Virgil, and the equanimity of Beatrice.

Academic Travel: Vienna

TASIS student Cristina Estevez '19 filmed and edited this entertaining look at the AP Art History class's five-day trip to Vienna in the fall of 2018. Led by Khan-Page Master Teacher Mark Aeschliman, the group visited a number of world-famous museums, including the Kunsthistorisches Museum.

Academic Travel: The Azores

Daisy Bachofen ’20 put together this visually stunning video about the IB Environmental Systems and Societies trip to the Azores, an archipelago composed of nine volcanic islands in the North Atlantic Ocean west of continental Portugal.

Historic flooding didn’t stop Lana Kozak ’19 from producing this gorgeous video about the IB Visual Arts trip to Venice, where 16 resilient young artists turned their misfortune into a very fun and interesting week.
