High School Orientation Information
Orientation will take place from Friday, August 31, through Sunday, September 2. Dress code is casual during Orientation, but all students are expected to be in their uniforms when classes begin on Monday, September 3. Participation in orientation activities is mandatory. It is a closed weekend, and therefore boarding students may not check out for the night. Please find below a highlight of orientation activities. (A full schedule by grade will be provided to each student on Opening Day.)

Middle School Orientation Information
Opening Day: August 31, 2018
We are excited to welcome all students—new and returning, boarding and day—on Friday, August 31. Important orientation information will be provided during registration, and ALL students are expected to arrive on this date. Dormitories will open on August 31, and boarding students will not be accommodated prior to this date.
Registration opens at 9:00. Please be aware that there are normally long lines early in the morning. We recommend arriving in the late morning.
Orientation Weekend

Parents are welcome to participate in all Opening Day activities on Friday, but Saturday and Sunday meetings are dedicated to students.

All students must bring their iPads on Saturday for the 10:00 meeting.

Day students must register on Friday and must also be at school from 10:00–13:30 on Saturday.

Boarding students may not leave campus after the Friday assembly and are required to stay on campus all weekend.

Elementary School Orientation: Sunday, September 2
Orientation for New Families: 14:00 in Palmer Center
An Elementary School overview for families new to TASIS will take place on Sunday, September 2, at 14:00 in the Palmer Center. This orientation will provide an overview of our Elementary School program and will address such areas as our shuttle bus service, Veracross system, after-school program offerings, and sign-up system. Our TASIS Parent Association (TPA) will also be present to help assist new families. All new families are asked to attend this event.
Open House for All Families: 15:00 in Palestra
We will begin our Open House in the Palestra on the main TASIS campus. The TPA will host an Ice Cream Social outside the Palestra at 15:30, and at 16:00 all families will have an opportunity to visit their child's homeroom.
