Moving Up the Ranks


On the morning of May 28, the TASIS Elementary School held its Moving-Up Ceremony in the Palmer Cultural Center to bid farewell to the 28 fifth-grade students who will be advancing to Middle School next year. The ceremony, which included remarks from Headmaster Christopher Nikoloff and Lower School Head Tim Fitzgerald, two musical performances, two presentations created by fifth-grade students and teachers, and the presentation of diplomas, can be viewed above. The TASIS Middle School Moving-Up Ceremony was held in the Palmer Cultural Center later that afternoon. The ceremony, which commemorates the passage of eighth-grade students from Middle School to High School, included remarks from Middle School Dean of Student Affairs MJ Breton and Mr. Nikoloff, two student speeches, the announcement of the 2021 Middle School awards, the presentation of graduation certificates by Mr. Fitzgerald, three musical selections, and an end-of-the-year slideshow.
