Middle School Program Students Deliver Outstanding Performance of "The Little Prince"

Students in Ms. Sandra Preciado’s MSP Musical Theater class formed the backbone of the cast for an excellent performance of The Little Prince in the Palmer Center on the evening of August 13—the final day of the 2021 TASIS Summer Programs. The full musical can be watched below.

This performance of The Little Prince was based on the book by Antoine Saint Exupery, with music and lyrics written by Paul Peglar and Sabrina Jacob. Ms. Preciado contributed to the adaptation and handled stage/movement direction, and Mr. Peglar served as Musical Director.

Tales from Thailand: Students Share Stories from the First TASIS Global Service Program Trip in Two Years

Over the course of the two-week spring holiday in April, 20 TASIS students and six faculty chaperones worked closely with OurLand, a wildlife reserve and education center located at the southern tip of the Western Forest Complex and Salakphra Wildlife Sanctuary. They visited three types of wildlife sanctuaries to learn about ethical elephant tourism, talked to those on the front lines of human-elephant conflict, and helped out locals when and where they could.
