All-Class Reunion | Istanbul

On Thursday, March 25, 2010, a small and loyal group of TASIS alumni attended a cocktail reception in Istanbul organized by Swiss Learning. After welcome remarks were made by the Swiss Consul General to Turkey, Mr. Ernst Balzli, TASIS alumni enjoyed tasty hors d’oeuvres while catching up with each other. A special mention for the longest distance traveled to attend the reunion went to Lisa Markham PG '72, who had flown over from the US before going on to visit other parts of the Mediterranean. TASIS was prominent in another way: the reception was held at the elegant riverside bar in Istanbul's Museum of Modern Art, and is one of ten restaurants and bars run by Umut Ozkanca ’96.
