2.

Never miss an event: search, sort, and set up a feed of the TASIS calendar.

The TASIS calendar (www.tasis.ch/calendar) is a powerful tool for finding information about all events in the TASIS community. You can sort by day, month, year, and categories, and you can even search for a specific event by name. You can also feed the entire school calendar to your computer or phone automatically, allowing you to view and plan for TASIS events without having to visit the site. For a full tutorial with instructions for Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple iCal, click here. Try out the different calendar tools to make sure you never miss an important event!

Search for events in the calendar

Click the magnifying glass to enter your search terms.

Sort and select specific calendars

Click the eyeball icon to pull up a list of all calendars for specific areas such as athletics or school level.

Feed the calendar to your phone, device, or computer.

3.

Sign up for alerts

To stay informed or receive email alerts for news items, specific calendars, or the TASIS blog, click the “Alerts” button and log in to configure your settings. You can edit and update your alert subscriptions any time. Log in to myTASIS, click the account menu in the bottom left, and select subscriptions.

Pro Tip: Be sure to follow us on your favorite social networks to stay informed as well. TASIS social media accounts are listed in the footer of every page of the website.

 4.

Find and contact TASIS Faculty

If you ever want to put a name to a face, email a teacher, or find out more about a staff member, be sure to visit the faculty and staff directory (www.tasis.ch/directory). There you will find portraits, titles, and email addresses for all teachers and staff at TASIS.

Pro tip: After you log in to the website, you can access bios for all teachers and see what courses they teach this year.

5.

Plan for your future with the College Counseling resources section

Whether you are just starting your search or are about to submit your applications, keeping up with university and college admissions information is an essential task for all high school students. For a complete guide to admissions requirements and schedules, standardized tests, and a list of helpful links, visit the University and College Counseling section at www.tasis.ch/college.

6.

Click the TASIS Crest to return to home.

If you are ever lost or want to quickly return home, instead of clicking your heels, click the TASIS crest! This trick allows you to easily return to the homepage from any page on the website and is a standard feature on most major websites.

If you have questions or would like us to add anything to this list, please write a comment or send an email to webmaster@tasis.ch.
